You can test our samples as the following methods.

Simple Testing method

• Summary: Prepare an electronic scales whose measuring unit is ‘gram’. Open the sample package, weigh the samples and record the data. Then put the samples under the room condition(20～25℃), weigh them every 24 hours and record the data (if possible, had better write down the relative humidity of the time), don’t stop testing until the latest two recorded data are basically similar. (If the relative humidity changes intensively due to rain or other reasons, you should put the samples more continous days so as to get two or more data points for better referrence). The data left by final data minus original data are just the weight of moisture absorbed by samples. The expression of adsorption rate is the same as Standard Testing Method(1)
  Standard Testing method

• Summary: Put some testing samples to a sealed container with certain relative humidity, make them reach adsorption balance, then weigh them and record data.

• Reagent and Solution: sulfuric acid (analytically pure)
  

  Testing Device: Take a suitable desiccator, put sulfuric acid solution with certain weight percent concentration to the bottom of the desiccator so as to get relative humidity what we require for testing in 25℃ (shown as below).

  The testing environment can also be substituted by constant temperature and humidity equipment. (T=25℃, RH=80%)
  Analytical procedure: To make up sulfuric acid solution according to above table and keep RH inside the sealed device 80%. Weigh the samples and precision is 0.001g. Pay attention to decreasing samples’ exposure time in atmosphere as far as possible ( more details in Notice), at the same time, the temprature should be 25℃±2.5℃. Regularly take out the samples from the testing device and weigh them. Repeat the operation until the weight difference is less than 5mg between the two continous results in one hour.

  The results are expressed by arithmetic mean, precision of which is 0.001g.
  
  

  Notice
  (l) Once open inter packing, use up as soon as possible. The notice of testing conditions: when RH≤50%, the exposed duration in atmosphere must less than 5 mins, when 50≤RH≤80%, the exposed duration must less than 3 mins, when RH≥80%, the work must less than 1 min, the sample should be tested immediately. If sample’s exposure time in atmosphere was too long, the testing results would be on the low side.
  (2) When the test is finished or paused temporarily, please bind the remainder desiccant in a sealed sack.
  (3) If the inter packing is damaged, please do not use it. Contact us, we’ll exchange it for you.
  (4) In the simple testing method, temperature and RH(relative humidity) both have great impact on the test results. The lower temperature and the lower RH, the lower moisture adsorption rate.
  
  Warranty: Due to the simple package, the sample has only 30 days period of validity (date of production is shown on the label). If the test date exceeded limited time, the results would be on the low side.
